Privacy Policy

SchoolGo Driver ("the app") is provided by MightyIT for drivers who transport students to and from school. This policy explains what data the app collects, why, and how it is handled. Driver accounts are provisioned by your transport operator; the app is not available for public sign-up.

Information we collect

  • Account information. The username assigned to you by your transport operator, used to sign you in.
  • Location data. Your device's precise location, including while the app is in the background, but only while you are signed in and have gone "on duty" for an active route.
  • Device push token. A notification identifier used to deliver trip alerts to your device.

How we use your data

  • Show you your assigned trips and stops and provide navigation.
  • Share your live location with your transport operator's dispatch team while a route is active, so they can monitor pickup and drop-off progress for student safety.
  • Send you push notifications when a trip is assigned or cancelled.

Location data

Location is collected only while you are on duty for an active route. When you check out or sign out, the app stops collecting location. Location is not used for advertising and is never sold.

Sharing

We share your data with your transport operator (your employer or contracting organization) and with service providers that operate the app on our behalf, such as our hosting and push-notification providers. We do not sell your personal data.

Data retention and security

We retain your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Contact your transport operator, or reach us at the address below, and we will respond in accordance with applicable law.

Children

The app is a professional tool for adult drivers and is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
